30-day money-back guarantee (Builder and Growth subscriptions)
This guarantee applies only to your first paid Builder or Growth subscription order, if and when those subscription plans open. In that case you may request a full refund within 30 days of that first order. The checkout screen and receipt will identify the payment provider and the exact process that applies. Starting on SmallBiz Ownd is always free. This guarantee does not apply to the one-time Feasibility Report.
One-time Feasibility Report (US$249)
This is a research service delivered by people, so refunds follow the work:
- You may request cancellation and a refund at any time before research work begins.
- Once research has begun, change-of-mind refunds are not guaranteed, because the work has already been performed.
- If KSD cannot deliver the purchased service, we will refund the affected order.
- Factual or citation defects, or in-scope items we missed, are handled through the included correction pass rather than a refund.
Nothing here removes non-waivable statutory consumer rights that apply where you live.
How to request a refund
You can request a refund by:
- Using the order-support or billing link shown on your receipt, or
- Contact us and we'll help you start the request.
Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to your original payment method. Processing time depends on Stripe and your financial institution.
Subscription renewals
When paid subscriptions open, renewal timing and trial terms will be shown before you pay. You will be able to cancel from your account page before the next renewal date. If a renewal charge was not intended, contact us promptly and we will review it under this policy and any rights that apply where you live.
